Obligatory #Endgame memes and gifs to celebrate the movie. Now for updates:
Now updates for the week:Monday - Today is a review day for your test tomorrow. We'll be trying out a new version of GimKit that was released for the week .... THANOS MODE. Tuesday - Today is Test Day. Please bring your fully charged laptop as we use an online testing platform. Wednesday - We will go over our test performance today and get our assigned reteach activities. These activities must be done in order to retest. Thursday - Today we will start class with the Retest for the Contemporary Era. Afterwards, students will start AP Exam Prep with a series of activities for Era Review. Friday - The focus of AP Exam Prep today is on Period 1 (8000 BCE to 600 BCE), as well as writing SAQs techniques. Homework for the week is studying - either for your test/retest, or the AP Exam. Use your time and do your best!We have a short week this week, but not lacking in learning!

Here's what is coming up this week:
Monday - Students today will complete their analysis of World War II by comparing the causes, impact and results of the conflict with World War I. .
Tuesday - Students will examine how the Cold War tensions develop post-World War II, and the proxy conflicts that occur as a result of those international tensions.
Wednesday - In order to show their understanding of the Cold War and proxy conflicts because of it, students will create memes to present satirical representations of these events.
Thursday - Students will examine how the process of decolonization occurs across the globe as a result of post-WWII agreements and new ideas.
Enjoy your long Easter holiday with family!Seriously - that rain yesterday was a mess.Couple of updates:On Tuesday and Thursday Klein Oak will be participating in STAAR EOC Testing for English I and English II. Make sure you log in to Schoology and check bell schedules and student testing room locations! This weekend on Saturday, April 13th, students are invited to participate in the World History AP Mock Exam. Sign-ups are required and can be found in your Schoology course in the "AP Exam Review Folder." Please arrive by 7:45 AM to the Freshman Wing MPR so that we can start our test on time! If you are following our 6-Week Study Plan, today is officially your start date! See the file in your AP Exam Review folder in Schoology or on this website on the page "Preparing for the AP Exam." NOW - Here's what's coming up this week:Monday - Students will begin a major-grade project over the Interwar Period as it impacted the United States, Europe and Asia. Working individually, students will create digital timelines with Google Slides. This project is due Wednesday, April 10th, at 11:59 PM.
Tuesday - Today 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are on an altered bell schedule and have late arrival due to EOC Testing. Make sure to check the bell schedule!
Wednesday - In class, students will begin to look at the causes and impact of World War II on Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Thursday - Today all 10th Graders will be taking the STAAR EOC English II test. Make sure you check the Student Locator on Schoology.
Friday - Today students will examine the human rights issues that occurred in World War II as a result of totalitarian control.
