Don't get distracted! The Avengers will return...This is your two week's notice! Remember these opportunities for AP Exam prep:
Here's what you can expect coming up this week:Monday: Today you will be working on graphic organizations that help encompass major trends and events of decolonization in regions of the world like India, Israel and Palestine, and South Africa.
Tuesday: Students who are participating in the AP Exam will spend part of the period completing their Pre-Administration session with counselors. After we all return, we'll talk about the information you worked on the previous day.
Wednesday: Today we are going to be looking at how the world has truly undergone a process of globalization during the twentieth century and onward. This will focus on economic globalization (which we have actually already seen in history), but also on cultural globalization with examples from religious perspectives to changes in awareness.
Thursday: Today you are going to complete an essay in class. This is a cold essay - meaning you are not going to get the prompt or any information ahead of time. Make sure you have spent time studying the twentieth century and the movements at play.
Friday: Today you are going to work in pairs to analyze the human rights initiatives of the twentieth century, including how it compares to others we've seen in history.
Also, make sure you pay attention to our Bell Schedule next week for EOC Testing! |
