Inching ever closer... we are 23 days away from the AP Exam ... that's about 3 weeks!
Remember that we have ONE MORE Saturday Review coming up on May 5th in the KO Library from 9 AM to 12 PM. We'll be going over Period 4 thru 6 with some more activities and games. Sign up with this form HERE.
We also still have Panther Den sessions for targeted review if you want to come work on specific areas of the exam. Use the form HERE to request days. Remember that these are (1) first come, first serve and (3) are not locked - this means other teachers who need you for reteach/retest can take these days if needed. One last thing!
If you attended the Saturday Review this past weekend on April 21, please take this short survey!
Missed it? A bonus post was shared HERE with all the materials and images from the review day! Here's what you can expect coming up this week:
Monday: Today we are going to look at one of the infamous events of World War II - the Holocaust. This event is an important part of the 20th Century's new trend of genocides.
Tuesday: Today we're going to start looking at the Cold War and its origins. This'll be done in a lecture where you can take notes based on the discussion.
Wednesday: After finishing our lecture on the Cold War, you'll use your knowledge to create memes based on figures/events of the conflict. We'll curate a gallery in Schoology where students will vote up/down on the best meme of the day.
Thursday: The ramifications of the Cold War extended across the world, not just to Europe, the United States. It will encompass parts of Asia, the Middle East and Latin America. Today we're going to work on some document practice to see how Latin America fared in particular.
Friday: Today we're going to start looking at a period of "Decolonization" across the 20th century. This trend was due in large part to the end of World War II.
