Getting closer and closer - couple of big dates I want you to keep in mind...Wednesday, March 4th, Klein Oak will be giving the SAT to all 11th grade students. The bell schedule is NOT altered for other grades and we will be going through a normal day! Friday, March 6th, is our Spring Carnival - if you plan to be out with a club/organization, make plans to get work done either ahead of time OR over the break. Here's what we've got coming up this week:Monday: In class, students will debrief their State Expansion activity from Friday in a lecture over methods of imperialism and nation-state impact. Afterwards, classes will review the instructions and activities for an in-class project beginning on Tuesday.
Tuesday: Today students will begin Day 1 of our in-class project in their groups and plan together for the simulation on Wednesday.
Wednesday: Students will conduct Day 2 of their in-class project as a whole group.
Thursday: Day 3 of the in-class project today will consist of submitting final work and completing an individual reflection via Google Forms about what students learned through the project.
Friday: Today students will be working on a digital activity to review the movements of resistance and rebellion by those anti-colonial groups impacted by European imperialism.
