Last week was AWESOME on our "Teacher Dress-Up" Day. Check out pictures from those who dressed up like me! This week is a short one, so let's do this and finish out the first marking period strong. Monday: Today in class we will have our Retest over Unit 1. The Reteach Packet for Unit 1 MUST be complete before you can take the retest. If it isn't done, you must finish it on your own time, and come before/after school to take the Retest. Homework: You have a reading tonight from Chapter 6 on "Civilizations of Africa". This would be a good time to rededicate yourself to these and taking notes over them if you didn't do as well on the exam as you wanted. Tuesday: Today in class we are going to work on our Short Answer Questions (SAQs) skills. Remember that the AP Exam has a short answer section, so it's important we know how to rewrite these SMART, not FAST. Homework: Tonight you have a reading that introduces Period 3, "Big Picture". Check Schoology for the PDF or use your online textbook. Wednesday: Today is PSAT day - we are actually on an altered schedule. If I see you in class (5th, 6th, and 7th Period), we will spend the day working on one of several items:
Homework: Tonight you'll be reading from Chapter 7, the section titled "Silk Roads". PDF will be on Schoology or use your online textbook. Thursday: Today we'll first take our Dates Quiz - it WON'T take the whole period. Then we are going to preview Period 3 with a discussion and activity about what makes the "Post-Classical" different from the "Classical" Period. Homework: FLASHBACK! to when we watched Crash Course cause that's homework for the weekend. You'll watch Crash Course's "Silk Roads" video and answer some questions about it. Due Tuesday when I see you again. And you know what... y'all have worked so hard... Why don't you take Friday AND Monday off?See you October 17th!Comments are closed.
