Welcome back, Panthers!I hope you enjoyed a restful Spring Break and I'm so excited to have you back in class. Just a couple of reminders before we get into what this week is going to look like.
Remember also that this is the perfect time to start studying for your AP Exam! See our page here on Preparing for the AP Exam and what you can do ahead of time. Here is what's coming up this week...Monday: Today you will get some more time to work on your Revolutions Chart we started the Friday before Spring Break. I will be checking for its completion on Wednesday!
Tuesday: I will not be on campus today as I have a meeting at another part of the district. You have an assignment on the rule of Napoleon and the Congress of Vienna to complete. Please make sure this is complete during the class period so that we can go over it when I return!
Wednesday: Today's a lecture day! We'll briefly go over the rule of Napoleon and its impact on The Congress of Vienna so that we understand how its circumstances create the makeup of Europe at the start of the Industrial Revolution, which will be the main part of our lecture.
Thursday: Today we are going to be looking at some of the major thinkers of the Industrial Revolution, mainly the major economic thinkers of the period and how they felt national economies should respond to industrialization.
Friday: You will start the period with a Quiz over the Industrial Revolution. Afterwards, we are going to look at various social changes that occur with industrialization including wage changes, living conditions, and education.
