Spring Break is coming y'all! This is the BEST time to start studying for your AP Exam ... I know, what a bummer. But you you won't have this static, periodic time period of being able to use your time to study for something again until Easter (and that's even shorter). If you haven't already, I would try to buy one of the top test prep books I've shown you in class before. You can find them on my "Preparing for the AP Exam" page on this website HERE. These are EXCELLENT resources to use for exam prep with practice exams, great review info, and pre-made study plans for you if you need one! Test Review SaturdaysSee the handout below about our Mock Exam and Saturday reviews coming up in April and May for the AP Exam! This Wednesday KO Juniors will be participating in the SAT Exam - all other students will follow the class schedule normally, but without ringing bells. See the bell schedule below. This Friday is KO's Spring IB Carnival to benefit the IB CAS Project: Love Fosters Hope. See the adjusted bell schedule below. Here's what you can expect coming up this week: Monday: Today we are going to start a lecture of the American and French Revolutions of the Modern Era. We are going to discuss their development and trends, as well as how they impact other revolutions during the era.
Tuesday: We will finish our lecture, first. Then, each student will create representations of ONE Atlantic Revolution using the body as a way to analyze its major components. Each part of body (head, feet, arms, etc.) will have to be labeled and made to represent a factor or piece of the chosen Atlantic Revolution.
Wednesday: Today's a surprise - just make sure you've paid attention to readings, videos, and in class!
Thursday: Today in class, be prepared for a peer activity over the Atlantic Revolutions. You'll need to be ready to evaluate each other's knowledge of the Atlantic Revolutions.
Friday: Today we are going to discuss the impact of Napoleon not just on France, but Europe as a whole. This will include a short lecture and a small activity to go with it. Remember this is carnival day!
