AP Exam RegistrationALL students should have, by Sunday, October 15th, have indicated whether they would like to take the AP Exam for this course. This was done with students in class, and it was recommended for students to go ahead and register as a late registration could have resulted in a $94 late fee, and the cancellation fees are voided until after February. Please visit at home about students responded and contact Ms. Hatchett ([email protected]) if you have any concerns on the College Board side. ALL students between now and February now need to register via the Klein Oak Website at Total Registration. From there, students must register and pay for their AP Exam. Please see the flyer below about information for payments. Now, weekly breakdown:Tuesday: Today in class we are working on a WebQuest (information that learners work with comes from the web) where students are learning about the Indian Ocean Trade Network that developed during the Post Classical era. This was sent to students via the Handouts tab in OneNote notebooks. Homework: Tonight, your homework is to read from Chapter 7, the "Sea Roads" section. This will reiterate some of the information you learned in class from our WebQuest. Wednesday: Today, students will be competing in pairs on a QR Code hunt to find and sort different goods, ideas, etc. that spread along the major trade networks of the Post Classical Era. Students have to sort the information correctly in order to win. Homework: Students will have a Crash Course video to view on Indian Ocean Trade and questions to answer about the content presented. This will be sent to students in their OneNote notebook in the "Homework" tab. Thursday: If needed, students will spend part of the period finishing the QR Code hunt. Then, the next project will be introduced. The PDF instructions of the project and its rubric can be found below and in students' Schoology course. Homework: Tonight, your homework is to read from Chapter 7, the "Sand Roads" and "American Network" sections. Friday: Today students will have the class period to work with their groups on their Trade Network Project. Students might spend the period researching and compiling information in order to work next week on creating the final product. Homework: Students need to spend the weekend working on the project or presentation on their assigned Trade Network from the Post Classical Era.
