We had an AMAZING homecoming week together. Check out some of our pictures below! Please note that you can ALWAYS keep track of what's going on during the week via our Calendar page on this same website. We also have calendars updated on Schoology AND it is updated every week on our back whiteboard in the classroom.
Here's the plan for this week in class and for homework: Monday - I will not be on campus today and have left several activities like a Crash Course video and questions, a contextualization chart, and primary source analysis for the spread of Islam.
Tuesday - Today we are going to combine our learning of views of Christianity and Islam and how it applies to views of trade and merchants. We are going to use primary sources and practice analysis of them to prepare for our first DBQ essay coming up.
Wednesday - Today's class period will be spent in lecture. We're going to look at China during the Post-Classical period and the major achievements of the dynasties of the Sui, Tang, and Song.
Thursday - Today we are going to get moving around with a gallery walk. You'll examine and learn about Imperial China during 600 to 1450 during the period as another way to review the Sui, Tang, and Song dynasties.
Friday - Today we are going to continue studying the Sui, Tang and Song dynasty with some practice on Point of View of documents. There will be a small activity to practice understanding the Point of View of "something", then we are going to go through and analyze point of view of some primary sources from the Post-Classical period in China.
