It's Tablet Distribution this week!Remember that you need to report to 2ND PERIOD at the start of the day! You MUST have your case from last year in order to receive your tablet. No Case = No Tablet. No Exceptions. Here's what is coming up this week:Monday: Since today is Tablet Distribution, we are going to take time to set up our OneNote Class Notebook and our College Board accounts. Afterwards, students will have time to finish our QR Code Activity from Friday. If not finished, it needs to be turned in at the start of class on Tuesday. Materials will be in Schoology.
Tuesday: Today we are going to review the different religions and philosophies of the world up to 1200, and look closely at the major Chinese philosophical traditions of Confucianism, Daoism, and Buddhism.
Wednesday: Today students will review the different systems of governance and economic trends of China from 1200 to 1450 and how methods respond to issues in the region.
Thursday: Today we are going to work on our document analysis skills by breaking down a previous AP DBQ Prompt on Buddhism in China. We'll work in groups to analyze and group documents, and respond to the prompt with a claim based on our groups and analysis.
Friday: The goal is that we are ready to take our first quiz over China today at the end of the period. We will take time to review so that we can check our understanding of this week's readings.
