Here's what we've got coming up this week:Monday: Today we are going to spend our class period finishing up prepping for our DBQ tomorrow. In the last 15 minutes of class, students will have their "Reading Period" - 15 minutes to make notes and read the documents for their essay tomorrow.
Tuesday: We're writing today! You'll get your documents back with lined paper and the rubric. You'll have the entire class period to write.
Wednesday: In order to evaluate our writing, we are going to practice scoring with AP-Chosen samples. By the end of the period, students should be able to evaluate what areas of their writing for the DBQ still needs improvement.
Thursday: We will start our new unit today - Unit 5: Revolutions (1750 - 1900) - with a short lecture and a gallery walk activity.
Friday: In order to apply our understanding of Enlightenment thinkers/thought, we'll compete in a 'March Madness' - style Bracket Assessment of the thinkers and their ideas.
