Here's what we've got coming up this week:Monday: Students will look at the opposite use of Nationalism between 1750-1900 - not to cause revolution, but to unify peoples of common culture and traditions.
Tuesday: Today is our Quiz over the Enlightenment and Revolutions. Make sure you are prepared! After the quiz, students will begin a digital assignment reviewing the origins of the Industrial Revolution in Europe and England.
Wednesday: To expose students to causes/effects/change the Industrial Revolution brought about in Europe and the Western world, they will participate in a Gallery Walk activity.
Thursday: After a short lecture about the spread of industry across the globe and its impact, students will use a Schoology assignment to learn about specific technological innovations and inventions of the Industrial Revolution and their impact.
Friday: The leadership of industry between nation-states of the period varied greatly between them - some were government-led versus individually-led by capitalists. We will analyze the differences between the impact of that leadership by reviewing the experiences of nations like Russia, Japan, and the Ottoman Empire.
