HAPPY HALLOWEEN!Before you start munching down chocolate and trick-or-treats, please make sure you have registered for your AP Exam and completed the $40 payment by November 8th! Every student received a new copy of the payment descriptions on Monday in class and this should provide guidance on how to complete it. If you are not planning to test, please email me OR our AP Counselor Mrs. Garrett - better to have us both on the email - so we can cross you off our lists. Here's what we have coming up this week:Monday: Students will continue their activity from Friday, examining sources to determine the significance of Gunpowder in the expansion of land-based empires from 1450-1750. After their analysis, students will practice DBQ grouping and thesis writing.
Tuesday/Wednesday: Students will use secondary sources to identify and describe administrative and consolidation techniques used by land-based empires in the period 1450-1750. After the identification, students will complete a visual representation of each empire in their groups.
Thursday: Students will complete a series of activities in Schoology to determine the significance of the Ming and Qing dynasties of China in the Land-Based Empires of 1450 to 1750.
Friday - Today students will be completing a gallery walk/station rotation over the cultural shift of Early Modern Europe. Students will review the topics of the Renaissance, the Reformation, and the Scientific Revolution.
