Welcome back!I hope everyone had a great, restful long weekend away from school! I am very excited to be back with all of you to start a new week and new unit of study. First things first... Last week, you received information about registration and payment for your AP Exams. All payments must be made through TotalRegistration. The $40 test deposit (per exam) is due by November 4th. Please make arrangements to complete this on time if you plan to take the AP Exam in May. A copy of the letter and its instructions can be found below. For more information about preparing for the AP Exam, click HERE. Let's take a look at what's coming up this week!Tuesday: Today we are going to go through our test over Unit 1 (Foundations and Classical) together, breaking down why answers are correct and incorrect, as well as how to improve later. Then, students will work on Reteach Activities related to their learning and areas of growth indicated from the test.
Wednesday: Today is PSAT Day! Make sure you check the Student Locator provided on Schoology. You can find a copy of the adjusted Bell Schedule HERE. Thursday: Today is your Retest Day. Students who have completed their assigned Reteach will be able to take the Retest. Other students who are not participating, and once everyone finishes Retesting, will complete an Image Analysis based on their learning from Unit 1.
Friday: Today we are going to spend time discussing what is going on in the Americas whilst all the action has been focused on Afro-Eurasia - because there's people there, too! We'll go through each Civilization that is present and complete graphic organizers of the information.
Have a great week!Comments are closed.
