It's LEQ Week! You'll be writing your first Long-Essay Question this week on the cause of imperial expansion OR imperial decline. Remember that you can get help after school Monday or before school Tuesday if you need it then. BUT we also have our Schoology conferences Monday night... Make sure you log in according to your class' scheduled time and participate!Let's check out what's coming up this week: Monday: In class we'll work to prepare material for BOTH choice prompts for the LEQ Essay being written in class on Tuesday.
Tuesday: It's Writing Day! Make sure you have a blue or black pen with you to write and that your outline is turned in at the start of the period. This is the last five points of your rubric!
Wednesday: Today we are going to Peer Review the LEQ Essays we wrote. We'll first "practice" with some sample essays to better understand the rubric and what we should be looking for, then review a peer's essay.
Thursday: Groups are going to work to practice document analysis steps and groupings based on our understanding of India [hence the readings from Tuesday and Wednesday]. This will take us two days so we will continue it on Friday.
Friday: We'll finish our "Indian Women" Document Practice today. If time allows, we'll play a game of Kahoot! to review our learning on Classical Empires.
