It's officially December!We are very close to the end of the first semester and that means - FINAL EXAMS. The Finals Schedule for the week of December 17 to 20 is posted below for you.
Here's what you can expect coming up this week:Monday: In class, students will have the opportunity to complete their Retest for the Post-Classical Era. All reteach assignments must be completed beforehand, though, or the student will be scheduled for Panther Den. Others will begin work on Schoology activities to analyze Feudalism as it occurred in Japan and Europe.
HW: Students will be watching a Crash Course video on "Japan and the Heian Period" posted in Schoology. Tuesday: All students will be working on and finishing Schoology activities to analyze Feudalism as it occurred in Japan and Europe. These activities include document analysis practice and short-answer writing practice. HW: Students will be reading from Chapter 12 "Civilizations of the 15th Century: The Americas." Use the digital textbook in Schoology. Wednesday: Today students will be examining the first concept of Period 4 (The Early Modern Era) which is the Globalization of Exchanges. This starts with the Age of Exploration. Students will work together to analyze the causes and effects of this trend across the world. HW: Students will be reading from Chapter 12 "Webs of Connection." Use the digital textbook in Schoology. Thursday: In class, we will examine the state of the Americas Pre-Discovery and their characteristics. HW: Students will be reading from Chapter 13 "European Empires in the Americas." Friday: Students will explore content of the Columbian Exchange using digital tools like a HyperDoc and Nearpod Field Trips. Students will examine the major participants, exchanges and effects of the Columbian Exchange. HW: Students will be reading from Chapter 13 "Comparing Colonial Societies in the Americas."
